Cutting-Edge Natural Filtration for Clean Water Solutions Worldwide

Cerametix Gravity Feed Filters – Advanced Filtration for Well, Wild, and City Water – FITS IN BERKEYS

$88.00$174.00

The Cerametix filters for gravity feed systems are designed to provide superior filtration for untreated well, wild, or city water sources. Featuring a diatomaceous earth ceramic outer shell, these filters excel in reducing fine sediment and harmful microbes while also tackling a broad range of contaminants. Recommended for those seeking an excellent level of filtration, Cerametix filters deliver clean, safe, and healthy water with every use.

Key Benefits:

  • Ultra-Fine Filtration: The diatomaceous earth ceramic outer shell filters down to 0.2 microns, effectively reducing fine sediment, bacteria, and other harmful microbes, while addressing contaminants like chlorine, chloramine, VOCs, lead, arsenic, and fluoride.
  • Broad-Spectrum Contaminant Reduction: Reduces over 200 contaminants, including fluoride, pesticides, herbicides, heavy metals, and pharmaceuticals.
  • Washable Ceramic Shell: The ceramic exterior is durable and washable, extending the life of the filter and maintaining efficiency over time.
  • Silver-Impregnated for Long Life: The silver-impregnated ceramic shell resists biofouling, protecting the filter from bacteria buildup and extending its usable life.
  • No Priming Required: The filters are ready to use right out of the box, with no need for a priming process. (Please follow the instructions provided in the manual for the initial flush process, which is necessary to ensure optimal filter performance.)
  • Made in the USA: Each filter is crafted with precision in the USA, ensuring quality and reliability.

Recommended For:

  • Perfect for well, wild, or raw water sources where microbial and fine sediment reduction is critical, but also highly effective for city water.

Important Notes:

  • Avoid mixing different filter types for optimal performance.
  • Not compatible with red dye tests, as this can reduce filter lifespan and will void the filter’s warrantee.
  • Handle with care, as the ceramic shell can be delicate. Avoid overtightening or dropping to prevent damage.
  • Initial use may result in a mild “new filter” taste, which will dissipate after filtering 2-4 reservoirs of water.

Includes: Two (2) Cerametix replacement filters, designed for installation in the top reservoir of your gravity feed system. No additional filters are needed for the bottom reservoir, which should remain filter-free.

Additional Notes:

– Filter Compatibility: These filters are compatible with Berkey units and other leading gravity feed systems.

No Additives or Leaching: Cerametix filters are designed to filter your water naturally without adding anything to it. These filters are non-leaching and maintain the integrity of your water’s natural composition.

– Made in America:  filters are manufactured with care in the USA, ensuring the highest standards of quality.

Optional Add-On: Mineral Enrichment Bag: Enhance your water with an optional mineral enrichment bag, which can be placed in the bottom reservoir of your system to boost pH and add beneficial minerals like zeolite, magnesium oxide, calcium, and carbon. This add-on is perfect for those seeking mineral-enhanced water while preserving the natural minerals already in your water.

**Please note: Laboratory tests are conducted in controlled environments and may not fully reflect real-world conditions. The effectiveness of contaminant reduction may vary based on your water source and its quality. These tests are designed to provide valuable insights into the filtration capabilities of our products, serving as a guide to their potential performance.**

What Are Imperial-Sized Filters? These filters are 2.75″ in diameter, offering both higher flow rates and significantly longer lifespan compared to the standard slim filters. The increased size allows for greater filtration capacity, making them ideal for households with higher water consumption or where faster filtration is needed. The Imperial-sized filters last up to 1,000 gallons (compared to around 500-700 gallons for smaller versions), offering extended use between replacements, which can be more cost-effective in the long run. These filters fit most gravity feed systems, except for the copper Sertodo model.

Additionally, they maintain high performance with reductions in over 200 contaminants, including chlorine, chloramines, VOCs, heavy metals, and fluoride, while still delivering the same high level of protection against bacteria, cysts, and sediment as the slim filters. The ceramic outer shell is silver-impregnated to resist biofouling, which extends the filter’s life and improves durability
