Due to this limited capacity, fluoride reduction media can quickly become depleted, rendering it ineffective in a very short amount of time. Most Fluoride reducing shower filters will only reduce fluoride at ineffective levels for up to a month or less.
Fluoride reduction media requires a certain contact time to effectively remove fluoride from the water. However, in the context of a shower, the water flow rate is typically higher compared to other filtration systems. This high flow rate diminishes the contact time between the water and the filtration media, significantly reducing the overall effectiveness of fluoride reduction.
Moreover, the efficiency of fluoride reduction media can vary depending on the quality of the water being treated. Factors such as pH levels and the presence of other minerals in the water can impact the ability of the filtration media to effectively reduce fluoride.
Considering these limitations, it becomes clear that relying solely on shower filters for fluoride reduction may not provide long-lasting or consistently reliable results. For more effective and reliable fluoride reduction, it is advisable to explore alternative solutions specifically designed to target fluoride removal, such as dedicated water filtration systems or drinking water filters.

Seems to work well as a replacement to our normal shower filter. The vortex changes the feel of the water in a positive way. Of course this is subjective, but my family likes this. I also have a vortexer for the water house and I do think the plants do better.

I love this shower head. The pressure is the best I have ever had. I am excited to shower the water feels fresh. Knowing that my skin is not absorbing the chloride and other treatment chemicals is refreshing. I can breath deep and not smell the bleach. I will never go with out this shower head. I can not say kudo’s enough!

The shower filter works well! I love that there is no chlorine smell in my water! The water pressure is higher than the shower head we had previously so the water output is higher, so just keep that in mind when purchasing. Overall I’m super happy and pleased with the product!
